Rhapsody of a Woman

Rhapsody of a Woman
Life starts for a girl in the womb of her mother,
She smiles and looks at her first love like none other,
She is the one who nurtures and cares,
Her life is centred around her four square,
The little child grows into a dainty young lady,
Her hearts, emotions, desires are a rhapsody,
Days pass so do the years nursing her kindred,
Yet all her ambitions are barricaded,
The abuse and violence grows with the years,
Her eyes have myriad times swelled up with tears,
She hides her pain, fakes a smile and moves on,
Life 's battles are endless and she is full on,
Till the day she can no more take the rebukes,
No fault of her but still chided and nuked,
The hard hearted morons live in harmony,
Enjoying bliss despite the acrimony!!
